Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a full-time Driver with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Load and unload goods and materials onto the vehicle

- Plan and follow the most efficient route for each trip

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition

- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately

- Maintain accurate records of trips, including fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery details.

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance and safety.

- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Valid Code 10 or 14 driver's license

- Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)

- Minimum of 2 years driving experience

- Good knowledge of South African roads and traffic laws

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
